Dado blades are combination-style grooving tools made up of two outer blades and multiple inner chipper blades stacked together. By adjusting the number and thickness of chippers, the groove width can be precisely controlled from 3mm to 30mm, depending on the arbor capacity of the saw. They are commonly used on table saws to cut wide grooves, dadoes, and rabbets in wood, making them ideal for cabinetry, shelving, and furniture joinery with clean, accurate cuts in a single pass.
