PCD Scoring saw blades - Adjustable
Description
The scoring sawblade is positioned in front of the main sawblade and is used to make a shallow cut on laminated materials, creating a groove that prevents tearing during the main cut.
Our conical scoring sawblade consists of a single blade; by adjusting its height, the scoring width can be changed.
In contrast, the adjustable scoring sawblade is composed of two carbide-tipped blades, and the cutting width is adjusted by adding or removing shims between them.
This setup effectively prevents chipping on the bottom edge of the panel.
Explanation of Tooth Forms:
- F=Flat tooth
- T=Triple Chip Grind
- L=Teeth with left-hand bevels
- R=Teeth with right-hand bevels
- H=Hollow tooth
- FC = Flat teeth with tapered sides
- TF= trapezoidal/flat teeth
- W(ATB)=Alternate top bevel tooth
- WF= flat/alternate offset tooth
- FAS=flat teeth with alternating, chamfered teeth
- WC=Conical Tooth
- RRRL=Modified ATB with 3 right-hand bevels and 1 left-hand bevel
- LLLR=Modified ATB with 3 left-hand bevels and 1 right-hand bevel
- RLRLF= Hybrid ATB + Flat tooth combination
