Description
Crosscut saw blades are specifically designed for cutting across the wood grain. Featuring a high tooth count and steeper Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) teeth, they help reduce wood tear-out and deliver smoother cuts. In contrast to rip saw blades—which have fewer, larger teeth optimized for fast, along-the-grain cuts—crosscut blades prioritize precision and clean finish.

- F=Flat tooth
- T=Triple Chip Grind
- L=Teeth with left-hand bevels
- R=Teeth with right-hand bevels
- H=Hollow tooth
- FC = Flat teeth with tapered sides
- TF= trapezoidal/flat teeth

- WF= flat/alternate offset tooth
- FAS=flat teeth with alternating, chamfered teeth
