Description
Grooving saw blades are specialized circular saw blades designed to cut grooves or slots into various materials such as wood, MDF, plywood, plastics, and composites. They typically feature flat-top or square teeth and are engineered for precision slotting without tearing or splintering the workpiece.
Explanation of Tooth Forms:
- F=Flat tooth
- T=Triple Chip Grind
- L=Teeth with left-hand bevels
- R=Teeth with right-hand bevels
- H=Hollow tooth
- FC = Flat teeth with tapered sides
- TF= trapezoidal/flat teeth
- W(ATB)=Alternate top bevel tooth
- WF= flat/alternate offset tooth
- FAS=flat teeth with alternating, chamfered teeth
- WC=Conical Tooth
- RRRL=Modified ATB with 3 right-hand bevels and 1 left-hand bevel
- LLLR=Modified ATB with 3 left-hand bevels and 1 right-hand bevel
- RLRLF= Hybrid ATB + Flat tooth combination
