Carbide spot drill
Sundi Carbide Spot Drill is a high-precision tool designed specifically for spot drilling and accurate hole location. Its core function is to create a precise cone-shaped indentation on the workpiece surface before the main drilling process, ensuring accurate alignment for subsequent drills. The short cutting edge design ensures stability and prevents issues such as drilling misalignment and dimensional inaccuracies from the start.

In addition to its primary role in hole location, the carbide spot drill can also be used for 90° countersinking, edge chamfering, and surface deburring. It is ideal for high-speed machining with spindle speeds up to 5000 rpm and feed rates twice as fast as HSS spot drills. This makes it especially well-suited for CNC machine automation and mass production, effectively preventing material buildup that can occur with low-speed machining.
