The Features of PCD Drill Reamer
Integrated Drilling and Reaming Structure:
The PCD drill reamer combines a drilling edge (responsible for roughing and removing the majority of material) and a reaming edge (ensuring precise hole dimensions and surface finish) in one tool. This allows for two operations in a single clamping, eliminating the need to change tools and significantly improving workflow efficiency.
Extremely Long Tool Life
PCD material offers wear resistance that is 50-100 times greater than carbide, significantly extending tool life. When machining soft materials like aluminum alloys, tool life can be extended by multiple times, reducing the frequency of tool changes and lowering tool procurement costs.
Optimized for Specific Materials
Designed for machining non-ferrous metals and composite materials, PCD drill reamers are especially suitable for materials like aluminum alloys, copper alloys, magnesium alloys, carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP), ensuring high-quality performance in demanding materials.
Enhanced Machining Efficiency
The integrated design eliminates the need for tool changes and reduces the time spent on process switching, machine downtime, and setup errors. Additionally, these reamers can accommodate higher cutting parameters (such as higher cutting speeds), resulting in a 30-50% increase in overall machining efficiency.
