Working Principle of Solid Carbide Compression Router Bits
- As the bit rotates, the up-cut flutes draw material upward and channel it toward the down-cut flutes.
- The down-cut flutes then compress this material toward the center of the bit, effectively minimizing tear-out and splintering on both the top and bottom surfaces of the cut.
